Miccosukee Methodist Church is affiliated with and a part of the Global Methodist Church family. The mission of the Global Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.

Our History
Our History
Our church was originally established in 1828 and has been active ever since. Our current church building was built in 1876 and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Meet our pastor, Pastor Michael Burke
Pastor Burke brings nearly 40 years of pastoral ministry experience to our church. He was ordained in The Church of the Nazarene in 1988 and received his Commission as Chaplain in 1990. Pastor Mike has been a church planter, served as a pastor in traditional churches and served as a chaplain within the Maryland Correctional System. The Global Methodist Church has confirmed Pastor Mike's credentials and appointed him to serve as our pastor. We are truly blessed to have him. Pastor Mike and his wife Nita are celebrating 54 years of marriage. They have two children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
PASTOR'S MESSAGE: Miccosukee Methodist Church is a friendly, welcoming and caring neighborhood church. We are family oriented with fellowship and activities for every member of your family. We provide a nurturing environment and a loving family to listen, help and pray with you. If you are looking for a place where you can fully participate in praise, prayer, worship and church activities, our church is the place for you! We have many opportunities for leadership, ministries and areas of service. You are invited to join us on Sunday.
CHURCH NEWS
Women's Bible Study: Invite your family, neighbors and friends to come to the "Lady Sword Swallowers" Bible Study every Friday at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
Faith Responders: If you or anyone you know was impacted by Hurricanes Helene or Milton, please contact Faith Responders who are currently deployed throughout the state. Their referral line is: 850-363-6799. Volunteers are needed to help with storm cleanup and spiritual support. Go to www.thefaithresponders.org.
